the introduction of CHL

The College of Humanities and Law (CHL) adheres to the school motto of "realistic and innovative", persists in the concept of "Express truth with Writing, Know politics and pursue law", and is committed to cultivating first-class talents with broad vision, solid foundation and all-round development. Now CHL has three faculties: Law, Public Administration and international education of Chinese language, MPA center (Professional Master's Degree in Public Administration), Humanities and Social science education base.

At present, there are 664 undergraduate students, 109 graduate students and 73 college staffs. Among them, there are 6 professors, 13 associate professors, 14 master supervisors and 4 visiting professors at home and abroad. In recent years, college staffs have presided over nearly 20 national Social Science Foundation projects, National Natural Science Foundation of China, humanities and Social Science Foundation of the Ministry of Education, and dozens of provincial research projects and horizontal projects. Many papers have been reprinted in full by "China Social Science Digest" and "Xinhua Digest", and published more than 100 papers in "China Social Science", "Management World" and other core journals at home and abroad.

The second class activities are mainly carried by the Student Union, league committee, QingCui Legal Service Center and Mandarin Debate team, aiming to promote the overall optimization and improvement of students' quality. In recent years, our students have achieved great achievements in Shanxi Moot Court Competition, "Sunshine Cup" Debate Competition, "Challenge Cup" College Student Entrepreneurship Competition and "Internet +" College Student Innovation and entrepreneurship Competition.

Since CHL establishment, it has constantly optimized talent training programs and vigorously improved the quality of talent training. CHL will deepen opening-up and cooperation, continue to advance international exchanges, and strive to achieve the goal of distinguishing ourselves from each other and being the best among equals.
