The faculty of international education of Chinese language Established in 2013 is mainly responsible for undergraduate teaching for Chinese and foreign students major inteachinginternational education of Chinese language. There are 22 faculty staffs, including 1 professor and 4 associate professors. There are 16 teachers with doctor degree, and 1 doctoral candidate, accounting for 73%; 2 master supervisors.

The staffs have presided over 4 national Social Science Funds, 2 social Science funds of the Ministry of Education, 1 postdoctoral project, and published more than 30 CSSCI papers and more than 10 academic monographs. The staffs have international education background and cultural exchange experience, and most of them have overseas study, teaching and visiting experience. They have played an active role in serving the construction of "one Belt and one Road" and the "internationalization strategy" of our university. According to the nature and characteristics of this discipline, the staffs cover a wide range of disciplines, with professional backgrounds in literature, history, linguistics, pedagogy, psychology and so on.

International education of Chinese language aims to "three pairs of", namely "bilingual", "double culture" and "double ability" as the goal, with a firm foundation in Chinese and foreign language and second language (English), with the Chinese and foreign cross-cultural communication consciousness, has the international Chinese education and Chinese culture spreading ability of talented person, can be engaged in international Chinese teaching and the related work of Sino-foreign cultural exchanges, And has the potential to develop towards high-level international Chinese research direction. There are Chinese students from 11 provinces and cities in China and foreign students from more than 30 countries in the world, and the number of overseas examinees applying for the major of teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other languages is increasing year by year.

The employment rate of Chinese students majored in international education of Chinese language is relatively high. In addition to pursuing postgraduate studies, serving as volunteers in overseas Confucius Institutes and teachers in primary and secondary schools, they also engage in language processing and related work in enterprises, public institutions and news and communication organizations. At the same time, relying on our two overseas "Confucius Institutes" as internship bases, some students have benefited a lot. After leaving China and returning to their own country, the students who have graduated from China are mainly engaged in the international education of Chinese language or cultural exchange work, and become the practitioners of "Knowing And friending China".
